Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (no gi)

 

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art, combat sport, and a self-defense system that focuses on grappling, and in particular ground fighting, but it is so much more than that. BJJ is a way of life! It changes you physically and mentally. It was designed to allow smaller, less powerful practitioners level the playing field against bigger and stronger opponents. This is why BJJ is for everyone! Get in great shape while having fun and learning great tools for self-defense and self-confidence!

Muay Thai

 

Muay Thai is an old Thai martial art and easily adapted to self-defense. It utilizes all parts of your body, hands, feet, knees, and elbows for striking making it extremely versatile for sport or self-defense. Muay Thai allows you to be effective at any range from the clinch to kicks! It is a great way to lose weight, eliminate stress, and have fun.

Fitness Kickboxing

 

Fitness Kickboxing is a fast-paced kickboxing based program, but ours is a little different. We don't just throw you in there with the sole purpose of making you sweat. Everything we do has a purpose. We teach good technique so you can hit harder and faster to get a better workout AND it transfers to self-defense. We stretch and perform weighted exercises to help tone more muscle and burn more fat!

Wrestling

 

Wrestling is the oldest sport in the world. One person tries to control their opponent and win by either outscoring them or pinning them on their back. Wrestling is a great base for both BJJ and MMA. It transfers its lessons to real-world situations like family, work, and school. It is without a doubt, one of the best ways to test yourself.

Catch Wrestling

 

Catch wrestling is a wrestling based combative sport where there are both pins (like school style wrestling) and submissions, like BJJ. It was the grandfather of both Professional wrestling (like WWE), and school style wrestling. It is an old sports form of grappling that is very popular in certain areas.
